Dog CC – Hodges’ Dalinset Sarastro and Reserve Dog CC – Loader’s Witchstone Jack High to Astri

Veteran Dog (5,1)
- And Reserve CC: Loader’s Witchstone Jack High to Astri. This eight year old boy impressed me with his size and his lovely outline and type, sturdy but fine bone. Very nicely chiselled, finely drawn head; dignified expression. Good neck and nice front, good definition of topline and underline. Excellent topline and finish over the hindquarters. Free and light mover, which ultimately won him the Reserve CC.
- Janluth Just Willum. Initally difficult to assess, this eight year old settled eventually to show his virtues. He is of lovely type, is of lovely size and shape. Lovely head and expression. Free mover once he settled.
- Ch. Sirella Saratoga con Sveltezza
Minor Puppy Dog (2,1)
Lacey’s Bellecotts Break on Through for Ibisco. Not a small boy, this boy scores on his nice light action, but his tail has a tendency to ring. Nice head, would like to see more stop, very babyish in front, typical for his age. When he deepens in body will present a more balanced outline.
Puppy Dog (1.0)
1 and CC, his first. Hodges’ family’s Dalinset Sarastro. Wonderful puppy, nearly eleven month’s old, beautifully handled and presented; most spectacularly marked deep blue with white, almost like a tuxedo! Beautiful head, eyes could possibly be a bit bigger to improve the expression, beautiful earset. Stands very true over his front, clean over the elbows. Nicely angulated forequarters, nice deep body already, Excellent topline, excellent croup and hindquarters. Light and true mover. A most handsome, and yes, masculine young dog.
Junior Dog (4,1)
- Loh’s Anjuskar High Chaparral at Caccia. 12 month old dog of very nice outline and type, not a small dog. Nice, quite masculine head, good front, excellent topline croup and hindquarters. Nice definition of underline. Moved freely and well once he was on a loose lead, lightly and effortlessly.
- Tamiskene Anubis Another fawn, lovely size and type. Nice head, rather strong over the skull excellent ears. Good neck and front, lovely definition of underline. Good movement but with out the lightness of action of the winner.
- Anjuskar Galileo of Alnesaire
Novice Dog (5,1)
- Loh’s Anjuskar High Chaparral at Caccia
- Spirito Divino del Milo. Blue dog with white trim, nearly seven years old, scoring on his beautiful head and expression. Lovely type and outline. Not presented to his best advantage perhaps; free mover but must learn not to carry his tail too high. Rather loose over the front quarters.
Post Graduate Dog: (3,1)
- Mellis’ Louis Amybon. Very elegant deer red dog of two years, who could carry some more weight to advantage. Exquisite head and expression, somewhat steep over the front, proper fine but strong bone, Excellent topline, croup and hindquarters. Free and light on the move.
- Golden Opportunity del Vino. This blue dog with white trim is nearly seven years old. Nice masculine head, good neck but stands very wide over his front today. Nice topline and hindquarters. A very good eater, as he is not thin. Not as free on the move as the winner.
Minor Limit Dog (1,0)
Palmer’s Chrisford Rocket Pack. 21 month old fawn dog, nice masculine head, excellent ears. Nice neck, smoothly set into very good shoulders and front. Nice proper bone, not overdone. Very good topline and underline, Moved very truly coming and going, and freely as seen from the side.
Limit Dog: (4,0)
- Turner’s Turinger Strong Gale. Certainly a little Greyhound! Eighteen month old dog, a very light fawn with white trim. Lovely outline, but possibly a bit long in body, hence the reference to the Greyhound. Lovely head with the pigmentation around the eyes that adds so much to the expression. Good neck and front, sturdy but fine bone, Excellent topline and underline, strong hindquarters. Free and light mover. In the last three for the Green cards; would have done better here but didn’t make the most of himself in the challenge. No doubt a future champion, in my humble opinion.
- Annmeeric Galaxy Traveller by Caroadori. Lovely dog, two years old, so more mature. Somewhat smaller than the winner, excelled in his light free action. Beautiful head, lovely earset, nice front, proper bone and feet, but pasterns rather upright. Lovely topline and underline, typical hindquarters.
- Artmeis Ragazzo Carino
Open Dog (8,1)
- Dunning’s Ch Anjuskar Emperor Flavius. Red fawn dog of three years, lovely type and outline. Beautiful head, well proportioned, lovely ears and ear placement. Excellent neck and forequarters, proper fine but sturdy bone, Very good firm topline, nice definition of underline, lovely over the croup and hindquarters, which are nicely angulated. Very free, light and easy mover.
- Ch.Chrisford Nosey Parker. Very attractive and well marked cream fawn with white trim, Very nice head, somewhat deeper earset, Excellent neck and good shoulder and front, proper bone, excellent definition of underline. Firm over the topline, very good finish over the croup and hindquarters. Very good mover but not quite the freedom of action of the winner.
- Honeybeech the Welshman
Special Progeny Dog (1,0)
Amsel’s Ch/Am Ch. Artmeis Simone di la Scala. What a wonderful group of children; all eight of them! Very similar in overall outline. Looking at the group, I felt that the bitches were more even than the males; and I was later to place two young fawn bitches, litter sisters, as my bitch Green Card winners, and to give Best in show to one of them.
Veteran Bitch (4,1)
Three really lovely bitches !
- Loader’s Astri Moonlight Sinata. Elegant bitch, nearly 10 years old, looking very well indeed for her age. A well balanced bitch, with a sweet feminine head, nice neck and forehand, perhaps somewhat forward set, but has a nice body with proper topline and underline. Lovely type overall.
- Littlebriton Rilloby Miss Saigon. Not quite as elegant, but scoring on a lovely outline, a bit longer in body proportions. Nice head, not as elegant as winner, but nicely chiselled; good neck and forehand and hindquarters. Moved with a very light high stepping action but rather more untidy over the elbows.
- Ch. Tamiskene Heavenly Star
Minor Puppy Bitch (3,1)
- Willcock & Doherty’s Littlebriton Lady Gaga. Finely drawn and quite lovely fawn baby, initially fighting her lead, but settled to move very freely on a loose lead. Head as yet not balanced, needing more strength of muzzle, also needs to strengthen in neck, nicely angulated forequarters, proper bone for size. Chest no doubt will deepen as she matures. Lovely long well angulated hindquarters. Hope her ear cartiledge softens.
- Artmeis Me Myself and I. Golden fawn bitch of very nice shape and size; also being a bit awkward today, but they are just babies! Nice head, a bit stronger, good neck and front, although upper arm at present rather upright. Good topline and finish over the croup, nicely angulated hindquarters. Nice mover.
Puppy Bitch (2,0)
- Spencer’s Rilloby In A Gentle Way. Exquisite little light fawn bitch, with white trim, of beautiful proportions and outline. Lovely head , the shading certainly helping the expression, and with the darkest of eyes. Very good neck and front, although perhaps standing a bit broad here. Lovely topline and underline, very nice hindquarters. Free and easy, properly lifting action. Most lovely baby.
- Dalinset Elisabetta. Fawn bitch with white trim, being a bit awkward and not totally relaxed. Very nice bitch of lovely type, nice head and expression, very good forehand. Eventually settled to move very freely. Excelled in her lovely fine coat.
Junior Bitch (9,3)
- and res. CC. Lister’s Florita Tarantella. Thirteen month old fawn bitch of lovely type and outline, so very balanced overall. Sweet head, excellent neck and neckset, nicely angulated and very true front, proper bone, fine but strong; excellent topline and underline. Very nice flow over croup to her strong hindquarters. Free and easy mover, just covering the ground so lightly.
- Cresties Giacinta di Bosco for Fayrouz. Blue bitch of fourteen month, with a lovely head and expression, lovely earset. Good neck and front, although not as clean in front as winner, toeing out from the pastern. Beautiful topline and underline. Free and light mover.
- Freith Symphony.
Novice Bitch (2,0)
- Lacey’s Francole Ebony so Ibisco. Fifteen month old black sable bitch of lovely type, not so small. Very nice head with the darkest of eyes, nice over the front. Very good topline and underline. Moved well.
- Littlebritons Tia Dalma. Very promising bitch of just nine months, so looking very much the baby here. Sweet head, good front for her age, good topline and hindquarters. Today she was moving in rather an exaggerated fashion, especially in rear, very much being babyish.
Post Graduate Bitch (3,2)
- Tiley-Davies’ Toerag out of this World. Lovely bitch of proper size and with a lovely outline. Lovely head and expression, good neck, stands a little wide over the elbows today. Beautiful topline and finish over the croup and hindquarters. Very free, light mover.
Minor Limit Bitch (5,2)
- with CC and Best of Breed Lister’s Florita Tipitina. Wonderful thirteen month old fawn bitch of exquisite type. Beautiful head and expression, good neck, nicely angulated forequarters, with some forechest to anchor her front, fine and strong bone, that slight bend of pasterns that come with a well laid back shoulder, Excellent underline, excellent topline which flows smoothly to strong nicely angulated hindquarters. Carefully handled to bring out all her qualities both standing and on the move. My comment into the Dictaphone simply says “ wow, could she move” ! Such an unexaggerated light mover.
- Francole Innamorata for Ibisco. Lovely red bitch with black pigment; most attractive with the “mascara” around the eyes. Nice head but rather stronger over the skull than winner, rather narrow neck, forequarters somewhat forward set. Interesting white stockings with ticking. Very distinct underline. Good hindquarters, perhaps tucking herself under . Free and impressive mover.
- Artmeis Kaaliya
Limit Bitch (4,1)
- Turner’s Turinger Gentle Breeze. Fawn bitch of lovely type, just under 18 months of age. Lovely head and expression, good neck, excellent forequarters, proper bone; excellent topline and well angulated hindquarters. Nicely defined underline, her slight false pregnancy not detracting. Very free and easy mover. A lovely bitch overall and in close competition for the Green cards.
- Rilloby Chase the Dream. Very attractive dark blue, almost black, four year old bitch with white trim, a little unsettled today. Somewhat taller than the winner, she has a most attractive head and expression. Very good over the front, excellent topline and underline, as well as hindquarters. Very light and easy mover.
- Tamiskene Edera
Open Bitch (9,3)
- Amsel’s Ch/ Ir. Ch. Artmeis Call me Madam. Lovely mature fawn bitch of five years, not small, a lovely type and outline. Sweet head, good neck, very nice forehand with elbow set well back, very nice definition of underline, excellent topline, although she has a slight tendency to tuck her hindquarters under. Very nice mover.
- Ch. Anjuskar Destiny’s Dancer. Beautiful dark red fawn bitch with white trim who I followed from afar since her puppyhood when I awarded her the Toy Group at a very large Christmas open show. She is a beautiful bitch, who has matured well, but today she was simply not putting it all in. Nice front quarters, although I find her rather upright in pasterns today, and her elbows could be set further back. As a consequence she is not using her front so well on the move. Excellent topline, croup and hindquarters. Moved very truly but could reach out more as seen from the side.
- Ch. In collustion with Chelanis
